Hey there, listeners! I’m here with the next 3 chapters of Grave Peril, in which Harry gets about a day worth of rest only to be woken up by pain, and then is forced to deal with an actual demon possessing the woman he’s committed to helping. So, you know. Thursday.
Harry is just not catching a break, but to be fair neither are any of the people around him. Unless you count Michael, who catches some broken ribs. At the very least though, Michael is able to get Ammoracius back, and that’s a pretty decent break. I suppose one could count Harry’s revelation that this whole thing was Kravos as a break, too, although he very nearly had to die to get the full picture to fall into place.
“Helping” them (and I use that term loosely since he’s got his own selfish reasons) is the White Court vampire Thomas, who really wants his girl Justine back. He’s brought the sword with him, and helps Harry carry out his rather insane plan of poisoning himself to force Lea into a bargain to get the antidote. Harry thinks that he’s managed to pull it off, but then he jumps through the opening in the Nevernever and it turns out that Bianca is there waiting for him. She wastes no time, either; rather than taking him prisoner or some long, drawn-out speech, she simply unleashes her vampires on him to feast. What a way to end a chapter.
I hope you have been enjoying the show, and I will see you tomorrow with the newest Justified and Harry Potter! Thanks for listening!
